As part of a fun Marketing and Creative team that loves what they do, you will compel travelers between 18 and 35 to sign up for life-changing travel experiences around the world. Our Associate Director, Content will develop and execute a content strategy that will increase brand consideration and drive qualified traffic to our website.

This is an opportunity for a storytelling pro that has a passion for developing and distributing hyper-engaging content across a variety of platforms (e.g., Influencer, blog, social, Ambassador, Partnerships, site and PR)—and is obsessed with measuring and optimizing those efforts.

What you'll do:

  • Conceptualize, create and implement a content management strategy to increase brand consideration and drive qualified website traffic.
  • Create and manage a content calendar—including briefing, content creation, curation, distribution, optimization, and measurement—that boosts SEO and drives measurable value (not just clicks).
  • Leverage editorial skills to craft and evolve narratives, guide internal/external contributors, and keep creative work streams on track.
  • Understand the customer journey across the entire marketing ecosystem and create relevant, engaging content that cuts through noise to drive engagement, acquisition, and retention among our target audience; master the mix of formats (e.g. blogs/vlogs, videos, articles, etc.) and distribution channels.
  • Oversee our influencer and Brand Ambassador programs and build a model for how to measure their impact and influence on our business.
  • Identify, negotiate and oversee the execution of strategic brand partnerships that expand our audience reach and/or drive value for our customers.
  • Manage our PR programs
  • Set benchmarks and continuously monitor the performance of content against key performance indicators
  • Develop and manage our content budget and forecast
  • Stay hyper-current with digital, consumer (Gen Z and Millennial), and travel trends to deliver motivating, breakthrough insights.
  • Partner with advertising team to amplify messaging as appropriate
  • Continuously think outside the status quo to identify new opportunities to grow our brand consideration among our target audience (and quickly convert ideas into real time campaigns/initiatives in partnership with Creative team). 
  • Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
  • Lead high performance team, providing formal and informal coaching to inspire results.
