EF is searching for energetic and organised individuals to join our team as a Student Services Coordinator this summer. This is the perfect opportunity to develop your customer service skills whilst gaining experience with an international company.

What will you be doing?
As the student services coordinator, you will be the face of the EF school for both our students and our staff. You will be overall responsible for welcoming the students into the school with a smile, being approachable for their needs as well as creating a lively and exciting atmosphere for them to enjoy day to day.
The student services have a link to all departments and as it is the core of the production of the EF school, no day will be the same. This means you will be involved in a number of different areas including preparing and running arrivals, relaying activity information and delivering briefings to new staff. You will also be involved in the running of activities as well as dealing with student discipline and welfare issues should they arise.
The role will include daily administration using the EF system, Elektra. As a member of the Senior Staff team, you may also be required to complete extra tasks in order to support the rest of the team, for example, leader observations and feedback.

The role can be very rewarding as it involves working alongside all the departments as well as closely with the students. You will develop knowledge from each department and is, therefore, a great stepping-stone for future roles within the company. Dealing with student and staff queries daily, you will not only enhance your customer service skills but also your communication skills and your ability to problem-solve and react quickly to demanding tasks.
Who will you be working with?
In EF we are 52,000 staff, faculty and teachers, working in over 612 offices and schools across 52 countries, and have a global presence in 116 countries. But we are also a local team of managers, teachers, accommodation, student services and activities coordinators (plus many more) who run the school together. We have different backgrounds and many stories to share.
What is required?
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a customer service environment, ideally working with young people. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude who is capable of using their own initiative as well as being approachable with excellent interpersonal skills. We need you to be legally able to work in the UK. Therefore, you need to have a UK/EU passport or a work permit. To keep up with the standards in our school, you also need to have a fluent level of English.
Our Student Services roles are available for 4-12 weeks during June, July & August.
