The Role:
As a Groups Tour Consultant, you’ll manage your own region of the U.S. like a mini business — building relationships, recruiting and mentoring Group Coordinators (GCs), and helping them organize life-changing group trips abroad. Group Coordinators are passionate travelers who partner with EF to plan trips for their communities — from friend groups and sororities to online audiences and large social organizations. You’ll guide them every step of the way, helping them grow their groups and share the world with others.
You’ll also own a fast-growing area of our business: Influencer Partnerships. This means collaborating with creators, influencers, and large community groups to launch trips, drive bookings, and expand our reach.
Your mission? To connect incredible people to unforgettable experiences — while hitting ambitious sales goals and shaping the future of group and partnership travel at EF Ultimate Break.
1+ years of experience in sales or customer service is preferred, and a passion for sales/marketing is required.
Your Responsibilities:
Recruit & Develop Group Coordinators
- Identify, engage, and onboard new Group Coordinators – with an emphasis on influencers and large community groups
- Present the value of our Group Coordinator program, helping future leaders understand how they can travel for free and grow their own travel communities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships through outbound calls, emails, texts, and creative outreach.
Manage Your Pipeline & Drive Growth
- Own a high-volume sales pipeline and strategically move prospects through each stage
- Develop and execute outreach plans tailored to your regional market and lead sources.
- Track and analyze your metrics to meet (and exceed) individual and team goals.
Coach & Support Your Coordinators
- Train and mentor Group Coordinators to help them plan recruitment events, grow their traveler count, and stay motivated.
- Provide tools, strategies, and consistent support to ensure group success.
- Celebrate wins and help troubleshoot challenges along the way.
Lead Influencer Partnership Travel
- Build and manage relationships with content creators, influencers, and community leaders to launch partnership trips.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to identify new partnership opportunities and create targeted recruitment campaigns.
- Track performance, measure ROI, and refine strategy to grow this exciting channel.
A Successful Groups Tour Consultant Will Be:
- An entrepreneurial and relationship-driven professional energized by creating something new, experimenting, and figuring things out as you go.
- A problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and believes that nothing is impossible with creativity, persistence, and teamwork.
- A self-starter who takes ownership of your business and follows through with passion and accountability.
- Adaptable and resourceful, you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats and adjusting as priorities shift.
- A collaborative teammate who values open communication, feedback, and shared wins.
- A motivator and connector, naturally inspiring trust and excitement in the people you work with.
- Experienced in sales, partnerships, or customer engagement — and eager to apply those skills to a growing and evolving program.

About EF Education First
Some companies are in the Business of Technology.
Others are in the Business of Finance….Sports…Or Soft Drinks.
At EF, we're in a different kind of Business.
One that's a little less tangible, and a lot more important.
Because our Business, what we make, makes everything else possible.
We're in the Business of Understanding.
Between people. Between cultures.

Through Language, Cultural Exchange, Academic Studies, and Educational Travel, we create the kinds of immersive experiences that challenge biases, open minds, and pave the way for a more understanding world.
You’ll find our 115 offices located in some of the world’s greatest cities, and filled with smart, driven people who push each other to be better every day. And yes, we have technology, we have finance, we even have sports with our own professional cycling team. But it’s what we do with it – Building greater understanding, breaking down barriers, and creating a better world…that makes all the difference.
