A career with EF Language Abroad offers the best of both worlds: the support and opportunity of a global organization combined with the energy and entrepreneurial spirit of a local team. We seek creative, collaborative, and driven individuals who are passionate about education, cultural exchange, and travel.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Host Family Recruiter to join our team at EF’s Boston Campus and play a crucial role in managing and expanding our host family program. Host families are an integral part of our school community, providing a welcoming home for international students from over 100 countries. As a Host Family Recruiter, you will report to the Director of Housing and work collaboratively to develop and implement recruitment and marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate is eager to enhance their communication skills, develop expertise in marketing and sales strategies, and foster community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet monthly goals through daily outreach via phone, email, and social media to recruit new host homes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for host inquiries, providing excellent customer support.
  • Develop and execute host home recruitment strategies, including social media campaigns, referral programs, and community events.
  • Represent EF at local fairs, events, and promotional activities to expand awareness and recruit new hosts.
  • Visit prospective host homes to assess suitability and complete detailed home visit reports.
  • Ensure host homes receive all necessary information and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of host home recruitment metrics and statistics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless homestay experience for both students and hosts.
  • Share emergency on-call duties with other staff as needed.
  • Organize and host appreciation events for partner hosts at the school.

What We Look For:

  • A positive, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude, even in challenging situations.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with diverse individuals and communities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive problem-solver.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and outreach.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Available to work occasional evenings and weekends (seasonally).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
