EF Educational Tours seeks an entrepreneurial sales leader to lead a group of Tour Consultants as Director of Sales for the New York City regional sales team in our Boston office.  You will drive a strategy focused on identifying growth opportunities and maximizing investments in your region to acquire new business and repeat and grow existing business. With direct oversight of a sales team, you will inspire and motivate your team—focusing on helping them execute on sales strategies and facilitating their professional development. This professional opportunity is perfect for someone who energized by strategic selling, passionate about developing staff and is excited to “own their own business”.

Role Requirements:

  • At least two years of sales team management experience with proven results
  • Experience coaching and growing a sales team with a wide range of skill sets
  • At least five years of sales experience, with a track record of consistent year-over-year growth
  • A demonstrated ability to develop and execute on a data-driven strategy
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to tell a story to motivate behaviors
  • A solid track record of working cross-functionally to ensure strong customer satisfaction
  • An ability to interface easily with those from diverse backgrounds
  • Adaptability in a consistently changing environment
  • A genuine love for international travel and passion for experiential education
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, and leadership skills, along with a strong work ethic, high integrity, and low ego, are core ingredients for success in this role.
