The Opportunity 
  
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented E-Commerce Merchandising Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our website to ensure our travel products are effectively presented and merchandized with the goal of continuously improving the customer buying journey. You are someone who loves digging into data and identifying opportunities and are a self-starter with a keen eye for detail. Preference is given to individuals with a proven track record of owning initiatives that drive real business results. We are in the market for big ideas, and you should be comfortable developing hypotheses, testing them, learning from the results, and making decisions based on your findings.  
  
Responsibilities 
  
  • Product Merchandising: Analyze sales, website, and customer data to identify the right trips to feature on our site to maximize consideration and conversion. Stay on top of changing trends in these areas and be quick to jump on opportunities as they arise.  
  •   A/B testing: develop, own, and execute our A/B testing strategy via Optimizely. Develop resources to track our learnings and ensure they are put into practice, and work to instill a test and learn culture among your colleagues.  
  •     Category Management: manage and optimize category pages to ensure they provide useful mid-funnel content and effectively merchandise our trip collections.  
  •   CMS Management: become an expert in our website CMS (Storyblok) and develop a deep knowledge base of the platform to ensure we are fully leveraging our current capabilities.  
  •   Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital merchandising and generate regular reports to track the effectiveness of merchandising efforts and identify areas for improvement. 
  •   Cross functional collaboration: work cross functionally with tech and product teams to advocate for merchandising opportunities.  
  
Requirements 
  
  • Over 5 years of proven experience in digital merchandising 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in all tasks 
  • Deep understanding and advanced proficiency of e-commerce and merchandising best practices 
  • Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and workstreams 
  • 5+ years of Proven success owning, developing strategy for and executing A/B testing. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics for data-driven decision making 
  • Expert-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint for effective data presentation and analysis
