International Teacher for Adults

ABOUT THE POSITION

At EF Education First, teaching is at the heart of everything that we do. As an English Teacher of adults in China, you will be responsible for helping students reach their learning goals by delivering face-to-face and online lessons.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Use EF learning methodologies to provide students with engaging, personalized, and impactful lessons.
2. Develop and deliver in-school and offsite events that allow students to apply their studies in real-life environments.
3. Work closely with staff to support and provide study feedback to students across all stages of their learning journey.
4. Take an active role in facilitating an English environment by engaging with students and staff outside of the scheduled classes and events.
5. Lead by example and support all staff in promoting excellence in educational services.
6. Provides demo classes to prospective students to help them understand the services they are interested in joining.
7. Supports the business in administrative duties by achieving goals and tasks in a timely manner.
8. Actively develops self by taking part in training, development, engagement, and quality assurance meetings.
9. Seeks out new opportunities to create compelling and powerful learning moments for students

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 12-month commitment
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Passport holder from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand
• Criminal Background Check (company sponsored)
• TEFL Course – 120 hours (company sponsored)
• Strong communication skills
• Friendly, approachable, supportive, and service-minded
