The role
- Develop and architect our cloud analytics data warehouse using Snowflake and DBT
- Develop and maintain dimensional models using Power BI Semantic and SSAS tabular data models
- Develop reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Build relationships with key partners and routinely present proposals and results
- Gather and share expertise, best practices and insights internally
- Partner with cross-functional global teams across engineering and operations to implement data models across the business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and have good communication skills
- A team-player with an agile mind-set
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and highly attentive to detail
- You have a keen sense of user experience and interfaces
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent professional experience
- 2-5 years of experience analytics engineering and/or data engineering experience
- 2-5 years of work experience with dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT or other relevant data pipeline tools
- Highly proficient working in SQL
- Expertise in ingesting, transforming, and consolidating data from structured and unstructured data systems suitable for analytics solutions
- Proficiency in creating insightful reports/dashboards in Power BI
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- A proven team player
- Experience with DBT is a great plus
- Experience with Snowflake is a great plus
- Experience with Git
- Experience with SQL Server
- Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
- Experience with Prefect
- Experience with Salesforce
- Enthusiasm to work anywhere in the stack, especially in unfamiliar areas
