Junior Salesforce Developer

About the Role

As a Junior Salesforce Developer, you’ll be part of a collaborative team of Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Admins, focused on the ongoing development, support, and maintenance of our Salesforce.com platform. You’ll use technology to solve real business challenges and make a meaningful impact at EF. Our team structure offers plenty of opportunities for growth—and the chance to make an impact from day one. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Aura, and Lightning Components.
Support integrations between Salesforce and other internal/external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Customize Salesforce standard and custom objects, fields, layouts, workflows, and validation rules based on business requirements.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to ensure best practices and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Support to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configuration or development.
Maintain clear documentation of processes, changes, and solutions.

Skills required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
0–2 years of experience with Salesforce development.
Basic understanding of Salesforce platform including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL/SOSL.
Familiarity with Salesforce configuration (flows, process builder, validation rules, custom objects).
Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles (Java, C#, etc.) is a plus.
Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification is a strong plus (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience working with Agile methodologies.
Exposure to CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange apps or managed packages.
Interest in pursuing further Salesforce certifications.

Please note: we're trying to build a great company culture and a cohesive office, which means that this is an in-office opportunity. There will be travel - Stockholm, London, Zurich etc. but when in Budapest this is a 5-days in the office role.
