With EF Teach Online, you will participate in an immersive learning experience without the need to create your own materials. You will have access to ready-made lesson plans and thousands of students who are ready to learn at any time of the day, as our classes are available 24/7, all year round. What's more is that you will be able to use our new online classroom, Hyperclass, which provides an immersive experience, allowing both you and the student to fully engage with the subject being learned.

You can also enjoy the flexibility of working on your own terms, as there is no minimum number of teaching hours required. We provide conversational group lessons (45 minutes) as well as one-on-one lessons (40 minutes). There is no teaching experienced required, so you can jump into the world of ESL right away!

This is a remote position for anyone based in South Africa.

Our hourly rates range from 60 to 87 South African Rand.

To ensure a successful application, teachers must meet the following requirements:

C2 proficiency in English.
Bachelor’s degree. You should have a completed bachelor’s degree.
40-hour TEFL or TESOL certificate. Alternatively, we can accept CELTA, DELTA, and university teaching degrees in TEFL/TESOL only.
Previous teaching experience is a plus.

*Important Note: a bachelor’s degree and teaching certificate are minimum requirements. We cannot move forward with a candidate’s application without them.
