This allows us to process your application properly in our applicant tracking system, ensure it’s reviewed by the right people, and keep your information stored securely with your consent. The best way to make sure your CV is seen is to find a role that feels like the best fit for you and apply directly there.

Each open role will have the specific job requirements listed which should include any visa, language, or location requirements. Especially for entry-level roles, it's very rare to see visa sponsorship. There may also be questions on the job application that confirm your right to work. Internal transfers to other offices can be options as you advance through your career here and there are also travel opportunities with almost every full-time role.

Yes, EF has internships. While we only have a couple structured internship programs, we do often have internships that teams open in areas like operations, marketing, sales, and finance. Learn more about internships here.

EF values diverse experiences. For many roles, we look at your work experience, skills, and passion over your academic credentials. Transferable skills are also something we look for so if you believe you are a strong fit for the role, apply and tell us why. Of course, some roles do have specific requirements, and it will usually say in the job description if that is the case.

Yes we do have summer jobs and the majority of them are at our International Language Campuses around the world. These jobs are also great if you are in school and looking for summer work, so you can check if we have any opportunities near you. You will need to speak the local language and have right to work too. 

EF does not use AI for CV screening. AI tools often focus heavily on keywords, which makes it easy to overlook great candidates whose experience goes beyond a match in search terms. That's why, at EF, applications are reviewed by a real person. So you can be sure that your CV and cover letter aren't being filtered out or scored by AI.

The only time an application might not be reviewed is if it comes in when the team is already about to choose a finalist. At that point the team may close the role, which automatically rejects any remaining applications before they review them.

Because EF is a diverse organization with many different teams and roles, the interview process can vary. Each hiring process follows our global guidelines and is designed by the recruiters and hiring managers to best assess candidates on the skills and qualities needed for their specific team.

In general, you might expect a combination of steps like:

• A phone or video screening with a recruiter

• Interviews with the hiring manager and sometimes future teammates

• A case study or practical exercise

• An office visit for roles where meeting in person is helpful

Not every role includes every step. The process will depend on the position and the team.
