EF does not use AI for CV screening. AI tools often focus heavily on keywords, which makes it easy to overlook great candidates whose experience goes beyond a match in search terms. That's why, at EF, applications are reviewed by a real person. So you can be sure that your CV and cover letter aren't being filtered out or scored by AI.
The only time an application might not be reviewed is if it comes in when the team is already about to choose a finalist. At that point the team may close the role, which automatically rejects any remaining applications before they review them.
