Teaching

EF Language Abroad

As part of our EF teaching teams, you will plan, prepare, and deliver the EF academic program through structured and interactive lessons that link to the activities and excursions run during the course. These classes boost students’ confidence in using language, and you will receive high-quality materials developed by EF to plan your lessons.

2-10 weeks starting June/July

Activity Leaders

EF Language Abroad

Activity Leaders deliver fun and varied activities and excursions to a group of international students, using EF’s resources and their own creative ideas. You will work with your group daily and be responsible for their safety and welfare while ensuring they have the experience of a lifetime during their language trip abroad.

2-10 weeks starting June/July

Course Leaders

EF Language Abroad

As a Course Leader, you will travel with a group of students to one of our many language campuses, which operate across the globe during the summer months. You will be responsible for the safety and welfare of the students from your home country and assist in running the activities and excursions the students participate in.

2-4 weeks starting June/July

Summer Management

EF Language Abroad

Our Summer Management roles are a great way to develop your operational and managerial skills. You will lead a team of EF leaders or teachers, and ensure our students receive a high level of customer service. Available roles include: Center Manager, Academic Manager, Activities Manager, and Residence Manager. Candidates must have previous management experience and be ready for an exciting challenge.

4-12 weeks starting May-July

Summer Coordinators

EF Language Abroad

Our Summer Coordinator positions develop your operational skills. You will support the Summer Management team and ensure our students receive a high level of customer service. Available roles include Student Services Coordinator and Transportation Coordinator. Candidates must have previous work experience in a customer service-related field and be ready for an exciting challenge.

4-12 weeks starting May-July

We also have other seasonal roles to support our operations on the ground.

Tour Directors

EF Educational Travel, EF World Journeys

Tour Directors work alongside EF to help students, teachers, and travelers from North America discover the world. Every Tour Director has two things: a love of travel and a passion for sharing their experiences with others. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary as responsibilities include liaising with suppliers, managing logistics, and leading fun, educational activities.

Group Leaders

EF High School Exchange Year

Energetic and responsible Group Leaders work with international high school exchange students during our Farewell & Welcome Days held at the EF Academy campus in Thornwood, New York. All Group Leaders are provided with meals and dorm-style housing for the duration of the program.
